Coronovirus Safety

Following the lift of restrictions on 19 July across England, we will observe new government guidance. Our office is a listed building and is very compact. We feel we need to keep in place health & safety procedures to stop the spread of coronovirus and keep both our customers, and ourselves safe. Having completed a risk assessment for The Old Ticket Office we have the following policies in place.

  • Customers, and staff, must wear a facemask or face covering at all times whilst inside the office. If you do not want to wear a facemask then we may ask for the appoinment to take place outside. We will have a small number of facemasks available if needed.
  • Customers must email or telephone to arrange an appointment or to discuss work.
  • The appointments policy will be strictly enforced. Customers may be turned away if they are late or do not have an appointment.
  • Customers are to sanitise their hands before entering the premises.
  • Windows and doors will be open during any appoinments. We clean surfaces and ventilate the workshop after every appointment.
  • A maximum of two people will be allowed per appointment.
  • We reserve the right to refuse entry, or service, to anyone who does not adhere to these guidelines or to anyone who becomes abusive/threatening.
